This is to represent Art Card traders who not only trade, but who also sell their art cards.

With ARTVEND, it seems most artists can head the the concept of creating art work that is a size of cigarette package. so i am going to suggest that you go to: www.artomat.com and get the concept visually. I have scrap making people interested in joining, the then there are those to buy and sell art cards.

so be on the watch for some media PR happening soon or check out VUE or SEE.

Good Evening,

I have been busy calling all artists to vend their art work this past weekend. there are two machines out in galleries the Red Strap and 118th Ave - The gals that have these machines would like to see some success with ARTVEND, as it is a very unique idea. if you want visit this website you can get an idea of what it is all about. www.artomat.org

I would like to see an artists exchange between showcasing your art work, to doing forums, workshops etc. I would like take a membership out fro ahh artists which is out of California. They do have chapters around the world and we all want the same thing.

Perhaps, this site wow edmonton, can be involved some how to be a place to publish, and be the online gallery. The challenge seems to be getting enough artists to participate in everything. Got any ideas in how we can get people together more often?

Hello Welcome to the new fabulous 2006!

As your Chief Energizer i have been so busy doing other contract work, that one of my lessons is learning just to take time out for myself.

I am sure we all experience that at one time or another.

Even though it's brisk out there, do take time do go out and enjoy the weather, your friends, or even if it's a walk around the block. It will revive your mind.

I am sure with most artists like myself it's doing the marketing, selling your artworks in different markets, and still having the time to keep on creating new work.

I was speaking with Maggie of Delvin Designs, she just got back from Victoria, BC from doing various markets out there. The other day she was having a show at the Blues Java Bar on 106th Ave & 50th Street. I am sure if you are interested in having an art show - that Leah and the girls would be happy to have you.

Leah and the girls do, African art, I found them at the Downtown Farmers Market downtown.

Of course the Butterdome art show is coming up Dec 8 - 11th, it is produced by the Signature show people, and you pretty much have to be signed up by this year to participate for the next years show. Best bet is to continue to support the smaller markets locally and when you have the time to produce more product then get into the bigger shows.

My Friend Ingrid of Dazzling Gourmet, said once you get into bigger shows, then your dream job of just creating seems to take over, and controls you. Ingrid is nevertheless very successful, considering she has been doing her craft for about 5 years.

Keep on creating and selling artists!

Don't forget to check out the Red Strap for the ARTVEND - put some of your work into the machine andlet it work for you.

Hello Everyone,

It just seems everything is carrying on faster, it's like my friend Kim said to me this afternoon hang on along for the ride.

I have been working on establishing a new service, doing ARTVEND, and catching up on my sleep, and reading lots of books. I guess i am like Reg, a binger.

If you are looking for exposure for your art work go to the Red Strap Market, ARTVend which will be in the Red Strap shortly. Still looking for Hosts for the machines. and then there is the Galleria in Capilano mall, Linda already has over 100 artists in mall. Also Madsen's Studio on 112th Ave & 68th Street has a small gallery to showcase art work. You can also get frames from her location.

Please post anything new relating to art, shows or events.
